10 months

A day late, yet again. With the start of work, a new fabulous roommate, and a concert at Red Rocks last night, it just wasn't going to happen. I think that the most fitting word to describe Autumn this month has to be "hilarious". She has been such a spaz, and we are laughing at her, and with her, constantly. She's been making weird noises lately and then cracking up at herself, laughing after she farts, or while she's pooping (TMI, but you know it's funny), laughing in the car for up to 20 minutes straight, laughing at Wally, etc. She's also got this amazing little drunk person thing going when she "walks", which is still not real walking. So many things to keep the laughter going these days.

Here's what else is happening with the budding comedienne:

--Her belly and thigh rolls continue to grow, despite all of her new upright activity. Today after she was done with lunch, she was sitting in her high chair and slapping her hands on her belly (while laughing, obviously). At least she's  not self conscious about having more to love. She's still wearing the same clothes she's been in for a while (mostly 9 months and some 12 months), and size 3 shoes.
--As of today, she has some new dance moves. I tried my best to catch them on video, but Sara and I were laughing too hard to get the video going in time. So now, instead of just thrashing/jumping up and down, she started swaying her head and torso side-to-side. I think it's one of those, 'had to be there' things.
--Taking multiple steps in a row, sometimes. She is capable of getting herself about halfway across the living room on two feet, but only if her hands are too occupied to be used for crawling.
--She's very vocal, but not talking. She'll still follow me around and say "mama" when she's really tired, but she also still does that to Brian, Sara, Mrs. Rachel, and even Wally. Every once in a while she'll say "uh oh" when she drops something too, but that's not talking in my book either.
--She's loving her crib these days. It used to be that if we put her in her crib when she wasn't tired, she'd start screaming for us within about five minutes. Now she'll roll around in there, wrestling her stuffed bear blanket, for up to an hour before either falling asleep or getting pissed. In the mornings she will sit up in there and talk to her 'friends' or herself for up to an hour too. I didn't wake up until 8 this morning, and we're sure she had been up since 7 at least. Let's keep that one going.
--Still loves her food, this one. Sometimes we ask ourselves how Autumn manages to keep her fuller figure with how active she is...and then we remember this.

She's kinda looking more and more like Brian! But, in a cute, baby-girl kinda way! Love the squatting photos! Seriously cute!
