Three months later...

At Autumn's six month appointment (over three months ago), her doctor felt her gums and confidently stated, "oh yeah, you'll see a tooth or two within the next month". Well, that month came and went without any sign of teeth aside from her usually drooling and chewing on everything. Right before we left for California, Autumn had been unusually fussy. She would cry when we tried to feed her (so not like her hungry self), and was tugging at her right ear a lot. Since that was the same ear she'd recently had two infections in, I decided to be safe rather than sorry, and get her ear checked out before our trip.

Ear was completely clear, so the doc felt her gums again, and this time stated, super confidently, "well, I see what's going on! Those teeth are only about a day or two away."
That day or two quickly passed, and before we knew it we were back at the doctor for her 9-month check-up...still with no teeth.

But alas, a tooth has finally made its way into the world! Autumn has been a cranky mess for the last 5-6 days. Her entire disposition has changed, it's been so sad. The tooth barely broke the surface on Saturday evening, and is still slowly making its way out, but I think its safe to say that she's starting to get back to her old self, for now. Until the one next to it decides it's time. And then the other 20 or so. Does it ever end?

Take this blueberry oatmeal and shove it!
This is what I think of teething

Feeling a little better, I think I'll dance to some Lady Gaga
